I absolutely DESPISE every enemy in Nihlathak's Temple. It's extremely difficult to do key runs with a Lite sorc in that temple. I don't know how many times I've tried to do key runs alone and lost my merc and all my experience, I did 34k at the time too.

I hate doing the Nihl Q even in normal when playing HC. It gets my heart pounding knowing that I can die from his CE. And doing key runs in SC, even with my Hdin, can suck.

Might as well contribute to this thread.

At the moment, for straight up always kicking my *ss, Blood Lords in The Crystaline Passage. I'm a lvl84 IK/WW Barb and I went through about 35 Full Rejuv potions to get through just that area. They're immune to physical and I can't leech life or mana from them. My Berserk has very little points, and since they're so fast and there are so many, I can't hit them fast enough without getting hit a bunch myself. That being said, I ran though through Diablo and that whole area at level 80 with no issues at all. It was honestly kind of easy (which was a huge surprise), but those damn Blood Lords are destroying me every time. Add a unique that curses damage amplifier and I'm even more screwed.

2nd, in the same run of underground frozen places, the Gloams have been a big problem as have the succubuss's. I always end up damage amplified and with 4000 of both of those shooting crap at me, I can't hit 1-4 fast enough.

For sheer annoying, any of the ghosts that run just a little bit too fast and have a tiny sliver of heath left and I have to chase after them. Swing, miss, chase, repeat.

^^taunt. you don't chase monsters. they come to you..
bonuses: lowers their defense and don't attack while coming towards you =)

Since I've finally conquered Hell and am starting to Baal runs (WEEEE!!) I have a new "most annoying enemy drop":

Those little Flayer dudes in WSK 3 with added Oblivion Knights. One of my favorites things to do is WW those things in Act 3. Can't do that in WSK cause of that damn Iron Maiden. Between those and Baal's Minions, 1 Baal run can take almost an hour.
